Read the names on our shelves out loud. Antonio. Aurelio. Emilia. Campana. Trissino. It sounds less like a sneaker wall and more like a long lunch on the Amalfi coast.
That's not an accident. FILA started in 1911 in Biella, a small town at the foot of the Alps in northern Italy, where the Fila family made fine woollen fabric. More than a century later, the company makes sneakers instead of cloth, but the idea hasn't moved: make something well, give it a bit of style, and it will last.
So here's a quick introduction to the Italian side of the current range, and how to wear each pair here at home.

For him: the everyday Italians
The Men's Antonio Mid is the one for anyone who likes a little more shoe around the ankle. A mid-cut works with cuffed chinos or straight denim and looks sharper than a low-top when you're dressing up a plain tee.
The Aurelio, Batista, Ottavio and Trissino are your clean, low-profile options. Think Saturday at the market, Sunday lunch, a Friday at the office where nobody checks your shoes. Pick by colour, not by occasion. They'll cover most of your week.
Want something with more attitude? The Teratach 600 has a sportier, layered build and comes in White/Pine Grove, White/Dune and White/Navy/Fila Red. It's the pair to wear with joggers and a hoodie when you want people to notice your feet.
For her: from court to coast
The Women's Emilia and Nola are low, light and easy. Wear them with a linen co-ord, a slip skirt or wide-leg trousers. They make an outfit feel relaxed without looking like you gave up.
The Campana has a bit more presence, which makes it a good match for cycling shorts and an oversized shirt.
And if you want height, the Alessia Frayed Canvas Platform gives you a few extra centimetres with a soft, worn-in canvas look that suits summer.
Why the heritage matters
Plenty of brands borrow an Italian accent. FILA earned it. The 1911 story is the reason the brand still cares about cut, colour and finish, and it's why our SS26 campaign is built around one line: Italian from the beginning.
You don't need a ticket to Positano to wear it. You just need the right pair.
